Challenging Contra

SCHEDULE

CHALLENGING DANCE

This dance will include challenging contras and shorter walkthroughs. Please join us if:

• You know how to do a roll away, California twirl, pass through to a wave, and contra corners, as well as the basic moves, without being taught

• You know where to be at the start of each dance phrase and how to recover from a lapse

• You assist your partner and neighbor to the next move

• You execute flourishes safely and on time without disturbing others

• You have an awareness of your whole set and work to help make the dance functional and fun for everyone

• You respond to confusion and missteps by others with grace, encouragement and good humor

COST

Admission for the contra uses our regular sliding scale: $12 for adults, $5 for kids or low-income, $20 for dance supporters.
